What happens when an irrepressible graphic artist and a mild mannered acupuncturist shack up in Western Massachusetts? The answer: Saponification! That's right folks, soap...and lots of it.

The back story in a (coco)nut shell: Hodges, our aforementioned graphic artist, found himself living in a hammock, on a beach, at the end of a rainforest, in Central America, lost. Something was missing in his life. Something he thought he'd find there, in the jungle. What he found was bugs, lots of bugs, big ones, little ones, no see-ums, and they all were blood suckers. Something had to be done. And from that was born "Itch No Mas", not a repellent, but an after the bite solution that actually worked! Everyone loved it. He knew if he ever made it back to the United States he would have to market this product in Costa Rica. Well, it happened...he was state side again --- Meanwhile, somewhere in the Western Deserts of the United States our mild mannered acupuncturist found herself up till this point chasing mirages, and never finding that oasis. And if she was to find that oasis she would bathe. She would bathe for days. Days takes a lot of soap. [this is where Hodges grabbed the computer from Frances and decided to finish this little tale that was going no where.]

What this all really comes down to is SOAP. We now make soap together in Western, Mass. Life is strange. We make soap/ balms/moisturizers and powders that we think are the best. I have been looking all over the world for products like the ones you will find here. We were forced to make them because they didn't exist. Frances and I had to pluck them from our dreams and bring them into existence, breathe life into them and let them float away like paper balloons into the atmosphere...(where am i going with this?). Maybe I should hand the computer back to Fran now? No, I shall drive this train home, besides she's in the kitchen heating crumpets, it's true, she eats crumpets and is quite proud of it...but i digress. You found us because you too are seekers of great things, things that up until now only existed in our collective dreams. Things that teasingly hang from a string like paper cranes, just out of your reach. Welcome to Petal Pusher, we are at your service, and are, at times, a tad dramatic.
